What is the Regulatory Exam?
The Regulatory Exam is competence requirement for Key Individuals (RE1) and Representatives (RE5) to meet the fit and proper requirements as set out by the FAIS Act. To pass this exam, it’s important to have a good understanding of both FAIS and FICA legislations. To ensure you are prepared, our regulatory exam preparation program will provide you with plenty of practice questions, mock exams and evening classes to help you prepare for your RE5 or RE1 exam. Practice questions help you understand the types of questions you can expect on your exam, and mock exams will help you test your skills before taking on the real thing. Evening classes are also available in order to help you prepare for the upcoming exam and make sure you understand all aspects of the exam. With our guidance and comprehensive program, you can be sure that you are ready for your RE5 exam!

What is Included in the Preparation Program and How Much Does it Cost?
Once you are done with the class, your workbook will be a summarised revision book. To prepare for your upcoming RE5 or RE1 exam, our preparation program includes
- A workbook. This is a helpful tool that provides you with most of the notes, extra examples, and class activities to help with understanding. While in class, you would then be required to fill in/complete some of the missing information yourself as you take notes. At the end of the class session, you will have a full revision book that you co-created!
- Classes. RE1 will have 5 sessions, while RE5 will have 4 sessions. All classes start on a Monday.
- Assessments/Practice questions, often referred to as Mock exams.
When are classes held?
There are 2 class times to choose from: Morning and Evening classes.
Morning classes are from 09:00 - 12:00.
Evening classes are from 18:00 - 21:00.
RE5: Monday to Thursday
RE1: Monday to Friday
Classes are held on Microsoft Teams which is compatible with most smartphones, laptops, desktops, and tablets. Corporate clients who can provide a venue can book in-person classes - additional fees may apply.
